• Pechishchi beds. 5.5-6.0 m thick

• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; lithified, dolomitic limestone

• Irregular interstratification of calcareous dolomite and dolomitic limestone rocks. The carbonate rocks consist of coarse and thick plates (shaped in the section like blocks 1.0–1.5 m thick), with bands of their varieties consisting of fine to thin plates (0.1–0.05 m thick). Quite commonly between blocks of limestones consisting of coarse to thick plates there are thinly laminated

•pelitomorphic dolomites and/or micritic-microbial dolomitic limestones, 0.05–0.15 m thick, with bands, clay gouge, and spots of clay material along the bedding plane, and, occasionally, minute pyritized-ferruginized plant remains.
