Environment/lithology: pond; poorly lithified, brown lignite

• Basin, stretching over 500 meters in diameter, surrounded by volcanic rocks. Due to its shape it is clear that it was a large pond accumulating organic debris. Localized volcanic centers that became emergent, forming small islands.

Preservation: adpression
