Environment/lithology: marine; lithified, pyritic, gray shale and lithified limestone

• Overall sequence of graptolitic shales on Bornholm consists of fault blocks exposed along Laesa and Olea rivulets and in boreholes.
• For overall sequence on Bornholm: "...mainly developed as dark grey, graptolitic shales interbedded with a few limestone bands."

•For this Zone: "The persculptus Zone is represented in the well sequence at a depth of 30.10-34.50 m. The shale here is grey to dark grey with well preserved pyritized graptolites."
