When: Vitoria Formation, Late/Upper Campanian (83.5 - 70.6 Ma)

• same horizon as L1A, but on other side of the quarry (northeast part)

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: fine channel fill; fine-grained, medium sandstone and ferruginous mudstone

• fine to medium-grained deposits of sands and greenish muds (authors describe L1A as sands and laminated sands that pass upward into laminated muds with plant remains up to an irregular ferruginous surface)
