Environment/lithology: "channel"; fine-grained, ferruginous, micaceous, gray, green, argillaceous, conglomeratic sandstone

• described as "channel fill" and "point bar"
• "clayey sandstone of greenish-gray color, substratified and splintery fractured, with fine-grained (0.2 mm) sandy beds intercalated that are quartzitic and micaceous. There are also carbonate laminae. Locally, at its base, it can have paraconglomeratic accumulations of ferruginous nodules that are more or less imbricated." (translated from Spanish by M. Carrano)
