• Fine-grained sandstone alternating with siltstones, mudstones, and shales. Sandstones are hard and in places micaceous, and they break into flaggy, blocky, and irregluar pieces. The sandstones are generally greay, greenish grey, red or purple, and the shales are mostly grey or purplish grey.

Collection methods: This reference is a taxonomic treatment of the trilobites of England and Wales. Localities at which the fossils occur are given for each species described. It is from this information that the list was put together. I therefore do not know how the taxa were collected.
