When: Jebel Qatrani Formation, Late/Upper Eocene (37.2 - 33.9 Ma)

• "more likely" represents Chron 13r and therefore is "very latest Eocene in age" (Gunnell et al. 2008)

Environment/lithology: lacustrine; unlithified, green, silty mudstone

• "a lacustrine deposit; vertebrates may have been flushed into the area during large storms" (Gunnell et al. 2008)
• Lithologic description based on direct observation by data enterer.

•Said to be a "green shale" or "green clay" by Simons (1989)
