• The Sausbee formation is the lowermost Morrowan unit preserved in this part of the Ozarks, and the Braggs Member is the lowermost unit of the Sausbee.

Environment/lithology: lagoonal or restricted shallow subtidal; lithified, shelly/skeletal grainstone

• The bioherms indicate a lagoonal setting.
