• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From unnamed lithostratigraphic unit, which unconformably overlies the Torlesse Supergroup. AGE: Korangan-Urutawan, on the basis of macrofossil biostratigraphy. Here placed in Korangan = Aptian based on its stratigraphic position. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From 80-100 m above base of formation.

Environment/lithology: coastal; poorly lithified, medium-grained, coarse sandstone

• ENVIRONMENT: Shallow marine, inner shelf paleoenvironment.
• SPECIFIC LITHOLOGY: Medium-coarse sand. LITHIFICATION: Poorly lithified, based on facies description (FRED).
