Type specimen: CEGH-UNC 14562, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is LA j, Las Aguaditas North Section, ~5.5 km west and ~9.5 km south of San José da Jáchal, which is in a Costonian deep subtidal shelf marl/claystone in the Las Aguaditas Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
