Type specimen: CPC 3972, a shell. Its type locality is BMR PB9, Becketts Gully, Irwin River Area, which is in a Sakmarian shallow subtidal limestone in the Fossil Cliff Formation of Australia.
Ecology: slow-moving shallow infaunal carnivore
