Type specimen: UM 76882, a partial skeleton (fragmentary sternum, coracoids, left humerus, vertebrae, tarsometatarsi, and phalanges). Its type locality is Discovery Site, which is in a Clarkforkian wet floodplain wackestone in the Willwood Formation of Wyoming.
