Type specimen: DORCM GS61, a set of vertebrae (atlas centrum). Its type locality is Sunnydown Farm Quarry (clay: upper horizon; equivalent to DB 102/103 ), which is in a Berriasian lacustrine - small limestone/claystone in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom.
