Type specimen: SMC J5339, a mandible (Anterior part of mandible). Its type locality is Langton Matravers pterosaurs (PROXY), which is in a Berriasian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal horizon in the Purbeck Limestone Formation of the United Kingdom.
