Type specimen: J68516, a partial skeleton (complete skull with some postcranial elements). Its type locality is Great Ouse Flood Relief Channel at Stowbridge, which is in a Kimmeridgian marine horizon in the Kimmeridge Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
