Type specimen: UFRJ-DG 107-R, a partial skeleton (partial skull and fragments of the femora, some vertebrae, part of the radius and ulna and some metatarsal and phalanges). Its type locality is Marília reservoir dam locality, which is in a Turonian/Santonian terrestrial sandstone in the Adamantina Formation of Brazil.
