Type specimen: PIN 1866/1, a forewing (tip of forewing). Its type locality is Lomovatka River, Alymaznaya (PIN Collection 1866), which is in a Kasimovian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Isayevian suite Formation of Ukraine.
