Type specimen: NND0223,0257/NIGP 151945ab, an exoskeleton (male wasp no antennae, incomplete wings & legs). Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
