Type specimen: PIN 4081/1, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Onokhovskiy graben, borehole 2699, depth 99 m (PIN collection 4081), which is in a Valanginian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Leskovskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
