Type specimen: TMP 2007.011.0001, a set of postcrania (132 vertebrae from atlas-axis complex to fused posterior caudals, pectoral girdle, incomplete pelvic girdle, almost complete fore- and hind limbs, disarticulate). Its type locality is 150 metres south of St. Mary River, near Lethbridge, which is in a Campanian offshore mudstone in the Bearpaw Formation of Canada.
