Type specimen: USGS 492, a mandible (right mandibular fragment with part of p3, p4-m3, partially resorbed alveolus forp2, and posterior part of alveolus for canine). Its type locality is Reservoir Creek Bonanza, which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial horizon in the Willwood Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: arboreal insectivore
