Type specimen: USNM 22819, a mandible (left lower jaw with P4-M2, the alveolus of M3, and a crushed and broken incisor). Its type locality is Tavenner Ranch 2, which is in an Arikareean terrestrial horizon in the Renova Formation of Montana.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
