Type specimens:
- Washakius insignis: A.N.S. No. 10332, a mandible (portion of right ramus of mandible with M3 and M3).
- Hemiacodon pygmaeus:
- Shoshonius laurae: AMNH 55672. Its type locality is Morrow Creek Locality 10, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.
