Type specimen: SGO PV 277 (formerly 5-VI-67/2), a mandible. Its type locality is Río Desaguadero, Ulloma, Oruro, Bolivia, which is in a Pleistocene lacustrine - large sandstone in the Ulloma Formation of Bolivia.
