Type specimen: DGUCB 97405, Mandible sin. with m1-m3, a mandible. Its type locality is Locus C, Saint Martin de Castillon, excavation in 1970-1971, which is in a MP 24 terrestrial marl/lignite in the Calcaires de Vacheres Formation of France.
