Taxonomy
Camelotia was named by Galton (1985). It is not extant. Its type is Camelotia borealis.
It was assigned to Melanorosauridae by Galton (1985), Carroll (1988), Storrs (1993), Heerden and Galton (1997), Galton (1998), Galton (2001), Galton and Upchurch (2004), Galton et al. (2005) and Naish and Martill (2007); and to Sauropoda by Upchurch et al. (2007) and Smith and Pol (2007).
