Somphospondyli was named by Wilson and Sereno (1998). It is not extant.

It was assigned to Neosauropoda by Mateus et al. (2012); and to Titanosauriformes by Sereno (1998), Wilson and Sereno (1998), Sereno (1999), Wilson (2002), You et al. (2004), Curry Rogers (2005), Allain and Aquesbi (2008), González Riga et al. (2009), Suteethorn et al. (2010), D'Emic (2012) and D'Emic (2013).

Synonyms

Huanghetitan ruyangensis was named by Lü et al. (2007). It is not extant. Its type specimen is 41HIII-0001, a set of postcrania. Its type locality is Liufugou, Liudan, which is in a Cenomanian/Turonian terrestrial horizon in the Mangchuan Formation of China.

It was considered a nomen dubium by D'Emic (2012) and Mannion et al. (2013).
Amargatitanis was named by Apesteguía (2007).

It was considered a nomen dubium by D'Emic (2012) and Mannion et al. (2013).

It was assigned to Titanosauria by Apesteguía (2007) and Mannion and Calvo (2011).
Amargatitanis macni was named by Apesteguía (2007). Its type specimen is MACN PV N51, 53, 54, a set of postcrania (right femur), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was considered a nomen dubium by D'Emic (2012); it was considered a nomen dubium by Mannion et al. (2013).
Arkharavia was named by Alifanov and Bolotsky (2010).

Arkharavia heterocoelica was named by Alifanov and Bolotsky (2010). Its type specimen is AEIM no. 2/418, a set of vertebrae, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kundur, Amur region, which is in a Maastrichtian fluvial claystone in the Udurchukan Formation of the Russian Federation.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Mannion et al. (2013).
Agustinia was named by Bonaparte (1999).

It was considered a nomen dubium by D'Emic (2012) and Mannion et al. (2013).

It was assigned to Agustiniidae by Bonaparte (1999); to Lithostrotia by Curry Rogers (2005); and to Titanosauria by Wilson (2002), Upchurch et al. (2004) and Mannion and Calvo (2011).
Agustinia ligabuei was named by Bonaparte (1999). Its type specimen is MCF-PVPH 110 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cerro de los Leones, level 3, which is in an Albian floodplain mudstone/sandstone in the Lohan Cura Formation of Argentina.

It was considered a nomen dubium by D'Emic (2012); it was considered a nomen dubium by Mannion et al. (2013).
Pelorosaurus becklesii was named by Mantell (1852). Its type specimen is BMNH R1868, a limb element (humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pelorosaurus becklesii type, Hastings, which is in a Hauterivian/Aptian terrestrial sandstone in the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Morosaurus becklesii by Marsh (1889); it was synonymized subjectively with Morosaurus brevis by Woodward and Sherborn (1890), Lydekker (1893) and Hooley (1917); it was considered a nomen dubium by Upchurch et al. (2004), Mannion and Calvo (2011), D'Emic (2012) and Mannion et al. (2013).
