Barbatodon transylvanicus
Taxonomy
Barbatodon transylvanicum was named by Radulesco and Samson (1987). Its type specimen is IS.001, a tooth (left M1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pui, Barbat River, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in the Sânpetru Formation of Romania. It is the type species of Barbatodon.
