When: Permian (298.9 - 252.3 Ma)

• Bedding in the sediments is of thin clay and silt layers and shell bands, and large scale sedimentary structures are normally lacking.

Environment/lithology: shelly/skeletal, argillaceous, calcareous

• The rocks containing this community are calcareous siltstones, mudstones, argillaceous wackestones, and packstones. SOme beds show mudcracks and one shows possible salt-crystal casts.

Collection methods: Ostracods are also included in this list, but are not counted.
