Environment/lithology: offshore; yellow, argillaceous limestone and gray, calcareous limestone

• alternations of thin, yellow argillaceous laminae and bluish-gray calcareous laminae less than 1 mm, occasionally interrupted by intraformational conglomerates and breccias; some black calcilutite and fine to coarsely crystalline limestone; in some areas a unit of lutitic and fine-grained limestone is present with black chert nodules.
