• Composite section built on five sections. Khuff is part of an unconformable second mega-sequence, which consists of the fluvial terrigenous Gharif Fm., overlain by marine marls and bioclastic limestones of the Khuff Fm.

Environment/lithology: offshore; lithified marl

• This member is interpreted as upper offshore, above storm wavebase.
