• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From Misakubo Fm. AGE: Cenomanian based on pterotrigonian biostratigraphy. Fauna indicates great similarity to Tateishi Fm. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From unknown position with formation.

Environment/lithology: coastal; poorly lithified siliciclastic sediments

• ENVIRONMENT: Enclosed shallow embayment.
• SPECIFIC LITHOLOGY: Unknown lithology; assigned siliciclastic as figures suggested a fine-grained lithology. LITHIFICATION: poorly lithified, based on observations of figured specimens.
