Environment/lithology: lithified, hematitic, micaceous, shelly/skeletal, gray, argillaceous, cherty/siliceous limestone

• Dark gray argillaceous limestone with medium gray crystalline layers in lower 8 ft. Upper 3 feet thin-bedded with shale partings. Upper 7 feet very cherty. Lower 3 feet impregnated with hematitic layers. Pentamerus layers confined to basal part.
