When: Inta Formation, Artinskian to Artinskian (290.1 - 272.5 Ma)

• Locality biostratigraphically lies within the Inta Assemblage Zone (Inta Kompleks) (Ivakhnenko, 1990; Modesto & Rybczynski, 2000), which is Asselian to Ufimian in age (Modesto & Rybczynski, 2000). Ivakhnenko (1990, fig. 1) and Shishkin et al. (2000) say that the locality is of Ufimian age; Ivakhnenko (2008 p. 87) states that the locality is Artinskian in age ("same age" as type locality of Riabininus uralensis, see collection (84718)).

Environment/lithology: terrestrial; carbonaceous shale and sandstone
