• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From Member 4 of the Chapel Island Fm, which overlies the Renconte Fm, and is overlain by the Random Fm. AGE: Unclear from Landing et al. (1989), who refers to this as post-Nemakit-Daldynian and pre-Tommotian; Watsonella crosbyi zone; here placed in Tommotian, until clearer data are available. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From the Watsonella crosbyi zone, near the top of the regional section, at 156.5 m, near top of Member 4.

Environment/lithology: peritidal; lithified, oncoidal limestone

• ENVIRONMENT: Peritidal.
