Environment/lithology: wet floodplain; gypsiferous, gray, argillaceous mudstone and sandstone

• "proximal flooded muddy plain"
• marly mudstone with high proportion of clay minerals (> 85%), moderate gypsum (< 15%), and low calcite (5-10%). Mainly planar or parallel, locally wavy and massive bedding. Some thin sandy interbeds.
