Sespia
Taxonomy
Sespia was named by Schultz and Falkenbach (1968) [named as subgenus of Leptauchenia by Stock 1930a; transferred to Cyclopidius by Schlaikjer 1935, Thorpe 1937]. It is not extant. Its type is Leptauchenia nitida.
It was assigned to Sespiini by McKenna and Bell (1997); and to Merycoidodontidae by Schultz and Falkenbach (1968) and Lander (1998).
