Coordinate basis: stated in text

Geography comments: "at four localities, Garuke, Eladale, Fetche, and Yebu... near the city of Jimma"
coordinate and elevation are midpoints of values for these four localities stated in the text

Environment

MAP: 1825.0

Habitat comments: apparently originally "moist evergreen Afromontane forest" but now "shade coffee farms"
MAP is the midpoint of values given for the four sites
MAT is for the Jimma district and is from Bitew et al. (2011, Trop Anim Health Prod)

Methods
Life forms: birds

Sites: 4

Sampling methods: quadrat,mist nets

Sample size: 1268 individuals

Years: 2010 - 2012

Nets or traps: 20

Net or trap nights: 2282

Sampling comments: "Sampling took place during the dry season, from December to February, over a three-year time frame... At each site, we positioned twenty 12 × 2.5 m nets within a 1 ha area and at least 50 m from any bordering habitat type... net placement approximated a square of 60 m on each side... Each site was sampled at least six times every season, with approximately two weeks between each sampling session. A sampling session consisted of opening the nets half an hour before sunrise and keeping the nets open for six continuous hours"; total effort was 13,690 net hours (approximately 2282 net days, generally consistent with the other figures)
