Geography
Country: China
State: Ningxia
Coordinate: 38° 3' N, 105° 50' E
Coordinate basis: stated in text
Time interval: Late Pleistocene
Max Ma: 0.012
Min Ma: 0.011

Geography comments: "The tenth site (QG10) ... in Ningxia is located at the southern foot of the Helan Mountains about 20 km northwest of Qingtongxia City"
"QG10 borders the Yellow River in the east and the Tengger Desert in the west"

Environment
Lithology: siliciclastic (mixed)
Taphonomic context: human accumulation
Archaeology: bone tools,stone tools,other artifacts,other structures
Habitat comments: "The fourth layer of the site is a gray-brown fine sand layer, about 1.5-1.8 m thick, containing plant roots"
There are "nearly 10,000 stone products, thousands of animal fossils, more than 100 bone products, decorations ... and dozens of archaeological relics such as structural fire pits"
Various animal remains contain traces of weathering, "a total of 53 specimens unearthed contain cut marks", mostly "belonging to the bones of deer and Przewalski's horse"
Burn marks and bone knocks are also present, all of which suggest this was a human (not natural) accumulation
