Sampling comments: "the initial collection... was made in 1967. Several tons of matrix were bag- and screen-washed in 1970 and 1971, and the locality was thoroughly prospected by the 1972 field conference participants"
"Approximately 6, 200 lbs. of sediment washed" (West 1973, p. 62), but this pre-dates collections reported by West and Dawson (1973)
"amphibians are not yet known... although a large number of snakes and lizards have been recovered"
an earlier faunal list with a much smaller sample size was reported by West (1973)
Pseudotomus robustus of Black and Sutton (1984) presumably replaces one of the rodent species
