Habitat comments: "Bioturbated, mottled red-gray mudstone, with calcareous glaebules and pedotubules occurring at specific horizons; intraformational burrows and some rhizoliths present... Disarticulated and scattered partial skeletons of Hyrachyus... isolated limb elements and teeth of mammals... Overbank/paleosol; abundant aquatic and semiaquatic vertebrate materials suggest near permanent body of water"
