Habitat comments: "near the top of a ± 45 m thick section of fluvio-lacustrine deposits... The mammal remains have been collected from two subsequent beds: A ± 40 cm thick tuffite with operculae of gastropods, and the overlying ± 30 cm of white silty limestone with silicified nodules" (most specimens are from the third of three point samples, which is from the upper level)
