Habitat comments: "Nonuniformly colored, greenish gray loam, with brown interlayers, with strong sand content and dark lenses of humus material at the base. The 0.5-m-thick interlayers in the lower part of the bed contain rare shells of mollusks and abundant bones of large and small mammals, and less frequent bones of fish and frogs... lacustrine–fluviatile deposits"
