Coordinate: 38° 3' N, 105° 50' E
Coordinate basis: stated in text

Time interval: Late Pleistocene

Max Ma: 0.012

Min Ma: 0.011

Geography comments: "The tenth site (QG10) ... in Ningxia is located at the southern foot of the Helan Mountains about 20 km northwest of Qingtongxia City"
"QG10 borders the Yellow River in the east and the Tengger Desert in the west"
"Preliminary C-14 dating results show that the geological age of this layer is 11-12 ka (uncorrected), which belongs to the late Paleolithic period"
It is therefore classified as Late Pleistocene

Archaeology: bone tools,stone tools,other artifacts,other structures

Habitat comments: "The fourth layer of the site is a gray-brown fine sand layer, about 1.5-1.8 m thick, containing plant roots"
There are "nearly 10,000 stone products, thousands of animal fossils, more than 100 bone products, decorations ... and dozens of archaeological relics such as structural fire pits"
