Sampling comments: "Os pontos de amostragem foram dispostos á distãncia mínima de 500 m da borda em todas as âreas estudadas, com distãncia entre os pontos dentro de cada ârea amostrada sempre superior a 600 m... As armadilhas foram instaladas uma vez ao mês, das 8:00h ás 15:00h, durante treze meses de amostragem (novembro de 2004 a novembro de 2005). As coletas foram realizadas em três dias consecutivos, sendo um dia em cada ârea... As essências aromâticas utilizadas foram cineol, eucaliptol, eugenol, vanilina, salicilato de metila, cinamato de metila e acetato de benzila... As essências foram disponibilizadas, sem reposiçäo ao longo do dia, em um chumaço de algodäo localizado no interior de cada armadilha, de modo que em cada ponto de amostragem foram instaladas sete armadilhas. Estas foram dispostas a 1,5 m do chäo, distanciadas no mínimo por 7 m entre si. As abelhas capturadas foram sacrificadas em acetato de etila"
