Sampling comments: "The circular study area had a radius of 450 feet and an area of 14.6 acres. Trapping stations were placed at 50-foot intervals around each of nine concentric circles which were spaced 50 feet apart. There was a total of 277 stations... One hundred live-traps were used... The traps were first put on the area on the afternoon of July 28, 1951, and were removed after running them on August 25, 1951"
