according to Kong et al. (2018) there is a 26Al/10Be date of 0.76 +/- 0.06, an ESR date of 0.509 +/- 0.016, and an age estimate based on magnetostratigraphy of 0.78 Ma, but the authors favour an estimate of 0.5 Ma based on biochronology
