Habitat comments: Barranc de la Boella formed in a "fluvio-deltaic sedimentary environment"

The sites are located in "fluvial and debris flow" deposits

Unit II contains "poorly stratified sand and gravel"

EF3 shows the lowest levels of abrasion (9.8%) out of the BB sites, mostly stage 1 indicating limited exposure to low-intensity water flows

EF3 shows the highest levels of weathering (72.4%) out of the BB sites, mostly associated with dry fractures (88%)

Stage 1 weathering was predominant in EF3 indicating short exposure and low degree of destruction

Lithic artifacts were found at EF3 indicating some level of hominin presence

Carnivore tooth marks were present on 9% of the remains at EF3
