correlated by Arambourg (1959) with the Vallesian Bou Hanifa fauna, but actually Turolian and "précisément turolien supérieur" (= MN13)

Habitat comments: from within a mostly continental sandstone interval that includes lacustrine limestones and fossiliferous lignites
