Sampling comments: "The study was conducted from October 2005 to August 2007" with "trapping grids at 18 sampling sites, 6 per habitat type. In the second year we used 12 of these sites, with 4 replicates per habitat... Each grid consisted of 6 x 6 trapping stations, with 20-m spacing of 36 Sherman live traps... on the ground covering an area of 1 ha. We randomly selected 10 stations per grid where we also placed a small Sherman trap... on a shrub or tree branch... All traps were baited with a mixture of rolled oats, apple, moistened cat food, and peanut butter"
